In celebration of Financial Literacy Month, Hauppauge High School partnered with Jovia Credit Union to bring a fun and educational experience to students through “Financial Fridays.”
During lunch periods throughout April, Jovia representatives hosted their version of “Jeopardy” designed to promote financial literacy. Students tested their knowledge on topics like budgeting, saving, credit, financial fraud and more. Those who answered questions correctly won prizes such as tote bags, highlighters, shaker bottles and gift cards, and walked away with valuable knowledge.
