Third, fourth and fifth grade students from Pines Elementary School are gearing up for an unforgettable experience. On April 19, as part of the annual Pines’ Family Day, these talented young singers will perform the National Anthem at Citi Field before the New York Mets take on the St. Louis Cardinals.
Under the direction of music teacher Mrs. Wray-Dolgin, the students completed their final rehearsal on April 4, filling the school with excitement and pride. Families from Pines Elementary will be in attendance, ready to cheer on their students as their voices echo throughout the iconic stadium.
“A truly wonderful vibe will fill the air as students and parents showcase the strong community bond and family feel that defines our school,” said Janine D’Elia, PTA event organizer. “The Pines’ PTA and families express their sincere gratitude to Mrs. Wray-Dolgin for co-initiating this exciting opportunity many years ago, a tradition that has become a cherished memory for all past and future students.”
