On April 4, Bretton Woods Elementary School had the exciting opportunity to welcome author Jessica Gold for a special visit with the fourth grade students. Jessica shared stories from her own collection, engaging the young learners with her captivating storytelling and inspiring them to embrace their creativity.

Jessica also encouraged the students to begin their own storytelling journeys, guiding them through the process of crafting their own unique narratives. The students had the chance to create their own stories, complete with illustrations, and Jessica provided valuable insights on how to develop characters, plot and setting.

The visit was a memorable experience for both the students and faculty, and it served as a wonderful reminder of the power of storytelling and the joy of creating!
