While most have been relaxing during the holidays the Varsity Girl’s Track & Field Team has been hard at work! The team ventured to the City twice on the 20th and 23rd.
Rachel Budke was a double medal winner placing in the 55-meter dash and long jump!
Alex Wetterhahn continues to shine in the 55 and 300 setting new personal records!
The 4x800 relay team of Amelia Vitale, Sofia Mariani, Julianna Heck, and Emma Tjersland also came home with medals.
Katherine DiTuro had an amazing race in the 1500RW to take 2nd and break 8 minutes!
Emma Tjersland had an incredible race in the 3000-meter run to come within 4 seconds of our school record!
Congratulations to all of these outstanding athletes! The team will compete again on 12/30 back at The Armory in NYC!
