Recently, Hauppauge High School earned prestigious accolades, including the 2024 College Success Award from GreatSchools.org, as well as a place on the AP School Honor Roll with Silver with Access status. These honors reflect the high level of academic rigor and support offered to students, preparing them for success both in higher education and beyond.
Equally impressive is the recent recognition of Bretton Woods Elementary School by U.S. News & World Report, ranking 182nd out of nearly 4,000 elementary schools across New York State, placing them in the top five percent. The school also ranked 35th on Long Island and third in Suffolk County. These rankings are based on state assessments in mathematics and reading/language arts, as well as how schools support students from diverse backgrounds, ensuring that all students are achieving at high levels.
This honor reflects the dedication of Hauppauge’s teachers, students, and staff, and is a testament to the innovative practices happening throughout the district.
