Pines Library Mission Statement

The mission of the Pines Library is to ensure that students and staff are effective users of information. The library media specialist provides guidance and formal instruction so that students and staff are able to access, evaluate, and utilize appropriate information from available resources.

• Caldecott Award - The Caldecott Medal "shall be awarded to the artist of the most distinguished American Picture Book for Children published in the United States during the preceding year.
